I booked for 2 nights and had restful stay. The receptionist guy wearing eyeglasses who facilitated my check-in 21st APR was very courteous and upgraded my accomodation to "balcony view room" (Room 301)). Commendable Great Service! Highly recommended hotel when in Hulhumale.

Getting there
Dreams Grand is in the Malé area, about 2.9 km in a straight line from Velana International Airport on Hulhulé. Hulhumalé is joined to the airport island by road, and the Sinamalé Bridge links the airport side with Malé, so the transfer is short.
A city stay suits a first or last night around an international flight, or a base for ferries and speedboats out to the nearby local islands of North and South Malé atolls.
The nearest other stays in this guide are Awesome Suite (on the same island block), Koamas Lodge (on the same island block) and Transit Inn (on the same island block). On a local island or in the city, stays this close share the same streets, beaches and ferry stops, which makes them easy to compare.

Trusting this information, we waited around the hotel for several hours, only to be told at exactly 11:30 AM—when we returned—that check-in was actually not possible before 1:00 PM unless we paid extra charges. This is completely unacceptable. The same staff who told us to return at 11:30 AM were not here and when I questioned this contradiction, the manager simply dismissed it by saying they were “new employees.” But internal training issues are not the guests’ problem. We wasted our entire…
