Very small room. The view was good as the hotel is located beside beach road. Currently, they are doing renovation and expansion over the top. Hence, excessive sound and labour movement. But, the check-in process was very smooth and provided the room before the time. Limited items breakfast but food quality was good, especially the coffee. Stair was very narrow. There was a balcony but not usability due to construction work.

Getting there
Express Inn is in the Malé area, about 2.8 km in a straight line from Velana International Airport on Hulhulé. Hulhumalé is joined to the airport island by road, and the Sinamalé Bridge links the airport side with Malé, so the transfer is short.
A city stay suits a first or last night around an international flight, or a base for ferries and speedboats out to the nearby local islands of North and South Malé atolls.
The nearest other stays in this guide are Araamview (on the same island block), Samann Host (on the same island block) and Osmium (on the same island block). On a local island or in the city, stays this close share the same streets, beaches and ferry stops, which makes them easy to compare.

Express Inn averages 3.2 out of 5 across 236 reviews. A selection, quoted as written:
Problem we faced in Express Inn:- 1. Way to small rooms. 2. Not so clean. Construction going on. 3. In the name of toiletries (shower gel and shampoo only). 4. The amenities written in website is all false.. 5. Overall its not a 3 star hotel. 6. Too noisy. 7. TV doesn't work. While complaining they said we will fix it. But nothing happened next day too. So staff is not that responsive. Not happy to visit this hotel. Things that we liked:- 1. Very near to beach. 2. Staffs were friendly.
I feel I was robbed by this property, because it wasnt that cheap. The room is small and nowhere close to what shown in the booking site. There was no elevator, so if you come with big luggage be careful! You will need to carry it upstairs. When raining, there was water leakage on the stair. No amenities will be provided, so dont dream on having toothbrush and paste provided. They only provide towel. Dont stay at this hotel!
