Quick communication after booking, met me at bus stop without me asking, close to bus stop. Large room, AC. Slowish wifi, expensive transfer vs bus costs (no info about the bus in their directions). Downstairs Chinese restaurant was way overpriced. Booked double room with queen bed, instead it was two twin beds put together without any extra mattress top on them. Good for a quick overnight stay.

Getting there
Hotelodge Aloevera Beach is in the Malé area, about 3.1 km in a straight line from Velana International Airport on Hulhulé. Hulhumalé is joined to the airport island by road, and the Sinamalé Bridge links the airport side with Malé, so the transfer is short.
A city stay suits a first or last night around an international flight, or a base for ferries and speedboats out to the nearby local islands of North and South Malé atolls.
The nearest other stays in this guide are Ocean Deluxe Inn (on the same island block), Tlm Retreat (on the same island block) and Velaa Beach Hotel (on the same island block). On a local island or in the city, stays this close share the same streets, beaches and ferry stops, which makes them easy to compare.

Hotelodge Aloevera Beach averages 3.4 out of 5 across 20 reviews. A selection, quoted as written:
This place is just right next to beach and they have spacious rooms. The staff is also nice. The furniture is not up to standard. I saw cockroaches when I opened the Drawer to keep my stuff. The queen bed is basically two single beds joined together with old foam mattresses. There were no toiletries in the toilet which is also a minuse point.
I am really upset cause the hotel did not provide me the facilities same as mentioned even the toiletries they just provide 1 soap for 2 people . They mention that they have a kitchen ,yes they do have but the stove looks like not working even the gas also no kitchen necessity. But the room is clean and the staff is nice and the place is near by mall, beach and so many shops we can find .
