This is a very cozy and clean place. Excellent to stay for one night. Right at the beach. The view is amazing with cafe Rio next to it. The hotel staff is very friendly and prompt. They were waiting for need at the airport to pick us up. A wonderful place to stay before going to the private island.

Getting there
Loona Hotel is in the Malé area, about 3.5 km in a straight line from Velana International Airport on Hulhulé. Hulhumalé is joined to the airport island by road, and the Sinamalé Bridge links the airport side with Malé, so the transfer is short.
A city stay suits a first or last night around an international flight, or a base for ferries and speedboats out to the nearby local islands of North and South Malé atolls.
The nearest other stays in this guide are The Aquzz (on the same island block), Huvandhumaa Inn (on the same island block) and Simry Beach Side (on the same island block). On a local island or in the city, stays this close share the same streets, beaches and ferry stops, which makes them easy to compare.

Loona Hotel averages 3.4 out of 5 across 61 reviews. A selection, quoted as written:
Not worth the money. Located on the north of hulhumale island this very only style guesthouse offers nothing but a wrll working a/c in the room. The breakfast is a joke if you have the luck to get one. On the first morning we could choose from corn flakes a mini omlette or old sausages. On the second day we went on an island trip so didnt need any breakfast and on the third morning they didnt even prepare anything. The beds were not made and there were no fresh towels. Terrible place. There are much better houses further south of the east beach. Ah yes and dont think you will find any fish here. The beach is also terribly dirty. Plastic bags bottles.
