Got here late and they waited for me and took care of me like a princess! I felt calm as soon as I arrived because of the atmosphere and their calm and cheerful welcome. Beautiful rooms, excellent service. Great breakfast and wonderful Thai restaurant. It’s a little off the main streets, which makes it a little challenging to find at first, but also quieter. Window but no view as it’s a low building in a sea of tall ones.
I can't in good conscience give this place 5 stars nor 3 stars (which I would give if it was Colombo rather than Male). The rooms are very basic and walls very thin; more guest house than hotel. But you have no other choice however; I would probably try Jen if I stay in Male again. But, definitely try the whole Rainbow Runner fish in the Thai restaurant -- it was the highlight of the food I had in Maldives.
