We stayed here for a night before our flight to a resort and it was just great! A representative from Simry actually picked us up from the airport and brought us to the hotel, so that was a nice perk not to have to worry about transportation :) The bed was super soft and comfortable, and the staff were really kind. They even prepared the (very delicious) breakfast buffet early for us because our flight to the resort was at 7 AM! Thanks so much!

Getting there
Simry Beach Side is in the Malé area, about 3.5 km in a straight line from Velana International Airport on Hulhulé. Hulhumalé is joined to the airport island by road, and the Sinamalé Bridge links the airport side with Malé, so the transfer is short.
A city stay suits a first or last night around an international flight, or a base for ferries and speedboats out to the nearby local islands of North and South Malé atolls.
The nearest other stays in this guide are Airport Beach Hotel (on the same island block), Beach Grand & Spa (on the same island block) and Loona Hotel (on the same island block). On a local island or in the city, stays this close share the same streets, beaches and ferry stops, which makes them easy to compare.

Simry Beach Side averages 4.2 out of 5 across 78 reviews. A selection, quoted as written:
A perfect place for a stay. The location is as good as it gets in Hulhumale. Nice, clean and comfortable rooms with good amenities. The staff are very friendly and they made sure that we were taken good care. The food is amazing. Best Thai food in Maldives. Highly recommended.
The room is very small, so not worth the price. The biggest problem is the staff is very careless, mislead us on the flight next day, caused us miss our flight. We supposed to be able to arrive at the hotel at noon, instead we arrived at 10pm. The worst experience I ever had in Maldives. The lesson is never stay in the transit hotel at Male anymore
