We didn't stay here but the staff were the only people who would help us after we couldn't make our taxi stop and pick us up to get to the airport. They went out of their way to make sure we get to our destination, even offering to wait inside the hotel where it was cool and comfy and booking a taxi for us.

Getting there
The Beehive is in the Malé area, about 3.5 km in a straight line from Velana International Airport on Hulhulé. Hulhumalé is joined to the airport island by road, and the Sinamalé Bridge links the airport side with Malé, so the transfer is short.
A city stay suits a first or last night around an international flight, or a base for ferries and speedboats out to the nearby local islands of North and South Malé atolls.
The nearest other stays in this guide are Stay with local family in Male (100 m), Dhimyaath Stay (150 m) and Napcorner Nap For Sale (200 m). On a local island or in the city, stays this close share the same streets, beaches and ferry stops, which makes them easy to compare.

Lovely hotel, comfortable and perfect for 1 night before or after a flight. Bed really comfy, slept perfectly. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Especially Shreya who was so kind and professional. Thank you very much, I will come back if I have the chance to!
We were welcomed with warmth at this great centrally located boutique hotel with a courteous and humble staff with a desire to appropriately guide tourists. All tourist spots & shopping destinations of Male are at a walking distance (max being 20 mins) from this Hotel. Rooms are well designed and spacious. Though one may feel that the AC's aren't upto the mark but the weather is such that the room takes time to cool. Our request for checking the AC was immediately attended to and the already clean air filter was replaced to ensure our comfort, but the outside heat delayed the cooling which was constant thereafter, leaving no room to complain. The bathrooms are spacious but an addition…
