Getting there

Crystal Retreat lies about 536 km in a straight line from Velana International Airport, the country's main gateway near Malé. The nearest domestic airport is Gan, roughly 12 km away, which matters if your transfer combines a domestic flight with a boat ride.

Addu Atoll is far enough from Malé that the usual route is a domestic flight followed by a boat or road transfer; confirm the connection with the property before booking international flights.

The nearest other stays in this guide are Abuharee Grand (on the same island), Vista Villa (on the same island) and Clove Stay by Clove Travels (300 m). On a local island or in the city, stays this close share the same streets, beaches and ferry stops, which makes them easy to compare.

Nestled like a warm embrace, Kilavethi retreat felt like home from the very first step inside. Every corner exudes peace and comfort. Our hosts couldn’t have been more caring. With genuine smiles and thoughtful gestures, quick tips about local spots, and help planning our days, they treated us like part of their own family. Their kindness made a safe haven even safer, especially for my son, who spent happy afternoons exploring the breathtaking beauty of Addu city and experiencing new activities they offer, canoeing in nature park was his most cherished memory of them. Mornings here are a gentle delight, the scent of fresh and lovingly prepared breakfast, and the distant sounds of birds…

Kilavethi retreat, located in a secluded and calm area amongst a bustling busy city, gives you the ultimate vacation vibe. Clean, tidy and comfortable rooms with hospitable staff that make you feel like home away from home. To complete that knack of adventuring as to what you would expect from a complete vacation, we relied on the landlord for Sightseeing, Experiencing Local Cuisine and Activities you can possibly ever need like canoeing, snorkeling, diving, all are expedited as needed by the awesome landlords at Kilavethi. We stayed at Kilavethi for 5 nights, and I can proudly say I got the most of addu city throughout my stay. We visited many places for awesome photography and among one…

We stayed at Kilavethi Retreat for 3 nights at first, as we planned for some other guest houses throughout the trip as well. The first impression was, it was located at a calm secluded area on the edge of the hithadhoo island, away from all the city life's commotion. The rooms were neat and spacious considering it's a pretty new place. The guide throughout our stay was the landlord himself and we were taken on tour to see the different attractions around the island as well as the neighbouring adjoining islands maradhoo and feydhoo. We visited many places like the famous "aari kilhi" as well as the "paree fengandu" and not to forget "nature park" and "addu city square" which, all were…
