We had the most amazing stay at Aveyla. The Guest House is warm and welcoming. The rooms are spacious and the beds were comfortable. Tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms, which is always a must. The atmosphere is so friendly and the staff couldn’t be more helpful or supportive. The food is delicious! We had the set menu and loved all the options. The desserts were amazing!! We snorkelled from the beach every day and swimming outside the lagoon saw so much marine life, it was breathtaking. We came to Aveyla for dinner, as we were staying somewhere else on the island. Food quality was great, service quality was also great. Restaurant ambience was a little dark and dingy which made it hard to see our food, and there were a lot of cats roaming around (we counted 14 in total). They were very persistent around the tables for scraps and had to be chased off by the waiters a few times. No idea about the rooms, but the hotel’s beachfront looked great and it seemed very quiet and secluded.
Aveyla Manta Village is a big hotel located on the beach front. The rooms was huge and spacious, equipped with basic amenities. The bed was comfortable but the room was too dark. It was challenging even though there was a light on the makeup mirror as it was very dim. At night the room is very dark. There was no room telephone hence was an inconvenience as we had to go down to reception to find someone to request for things like iron.The restaurant was a very disappointing experience . The lunch was until 1430hrs however, when we arrived at around 1400hrs, items we ordered and no drinks we preferred were not available so we had to choose alternative options.
