Getting there
The Nautilus Maldives lies about 126 km in a straight line from Velana International Airport, the country's main gateway near Malé. The nearest domestic airport is Dharavandhoo, roughly 12 km away, which matters if your transfer combines a domestic flight with a boat ride.
Resorts this far from Malé are usually reached by seaplane, or by a domestic flight followed by a boat ride; the resort confirms which applies and the timing, and seaplanes fly in daylight only.
The nearest other stays in this guide are NH Collection Maldives Reethi Resort (1.2 km), Villa Kamadhoo (2.9 km) and Nest by Hawks Hotels Kamadhoo Baa Atoll (2.9 km). On resort islands, neighbours are usually separate islands reached only by boat, so distance says little about walking access.

The property itself is small and private, the modern rooms and facilities are on-par with other top resorts in the world. We all got great sleeping experiences thanks to the comfort of the beds. However, where the property falls short is the service and general soft-product. To start, our butlers were very standard, carrying out their responsibility well but never going the extra mile that is expected at such a…
