I liked everything. The location couldn't be better, the facilities were great, although I regret not using the hammock a little more :) Great sustainability initiatives. Mandy, the host is just incredible. From the first moment I walked in, felt very welcome and felt like home. She keeps the place very well maintained, I felt comfortable being there, she was always available when needed and really is just a lovely person. The sandbank tour is an absolute must, don't hesitate. And the breakfast... I was obsessed. I had the Maldivian breakfast every day and I loved it so much I even got a chance to see how they prepare it. I definitely will be back! :)

Beach Veli is the most charming guesthouse I have experienced in a long time! The location on the west side of the island is terrific, the ocean is just 10 metres across the road and the beach has both sun and lots of shade! The rooms are simple, yet impeccably clean. The manager Mandy is one of the most lovable women I have ever met. She is also extremely organized and helpful in planning your excursions. Her staff is sweet and forthcoming! Breakfast is so delicious and you can pick between Western and Maldivian! Mandy will also organize BBQ with local fish on request! I really hope to have a chance to get back there next year!
Staying at Beach Veli made our holidays Special. The room was quite simple but has everything needed. Location is amazing, right in front of the most beautiful beach strip in Ukulhas with a great house reef easily accessible with plenty of sardines, few turtles and some friendly nurse sharks. One of my favourite snorkles in Maldives just in front of the hotel! Thol, the owner, organized everything we needed, including many trips for Mantas, sharks, half day sandbank and several scuba dives. Definitely recommended!
