First off all it was my First International Experience ☺️. Stay at Ocean Retreat and Spa Resort was our first option for our budget trip. We had a slight hesitation about it initially. It's an Island far from main City. But once we stepped into resort, everything seems to be Fine and beautiful with warm welcome by Management People's. Welcome drink, Warm welcome, Friendly Manner, Well Maintained rooms , Ocean view were the best among these experiences. Especially safety for women. They gave some advice about water games and took us in a proper way even a person who doesn't know swimming they guide & care for more good divers and guides. We had a lovely experience staying here during our honeymoon trip to the Maldives. The service is excellent and the people are very kind. The rooms are kept well clean and the only reason to dock a star is because the air conditioner struggled to cool the room due to its installed location being close to the front door instead of in the main room. Still it had a very comfortable bed, and the temperature was still very acceptable. The food was good too and the guesthouse is located centrally on the island making it easy to access other restaurants. We would definitely stay here again in the future.
Small family hotel near to the bikini beach, around 5 min walking. The staff should learn how to treat guests like guests that are paying for stay at a hotel, not stay like for free in their own home. The food is very bad. They give you what they have cooked for their family and usually it is very spicy. The club sandwich is good. Now cleaning the rooms, not empty the trash. Still the rooms are very good. The hotel was very cheap. The island itself is boring with nothing to do but wild and beautiful. Very local island.
