We’ve just returned from the most incredible holiday at Vilamendhoo, and I can honestly say it was the best trip we’ve ever been on as a family. Everything exceeded our expectations. The island itself is simply stunning – crystal-clear turquoise waters, soft white sand, and lush greenery all around. The resort was immaculately clean, beautifully maintained, and every little detail was clearly looked after. The food was absolutely delicious – varied, plentiful, and full of flavour. Our stay at Vilamendhoo Resort was simply unforgettable! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome — everyone was incredibly friendly, helpful, and always greeted us with a smile. Our room was absolutely spectacular: spacious, comfortable, and with stunning views that we enjoyed every single day. The buffet food was excellent, with plenty of variety and great quality. We especially loved that every dinner had a different theme, which kept things exciting and allowed us to try lots of different dishes throughout our stay. Amazing hotel, beautiful reef, great food, and excursions. Only downside was the service—staff seemed more focused on hotel rules than guest experience, and nothing was offered to resolve issues. Everything else was fantastic, but service needs improvement.
