We had a fantastic stay. My husband and I visited to celebrate our 2 year wedding anniversary and stayed at the sunset beach villa with a pool. It was beautiful, well maintained, clean, and very cozy and comfortable. The bed is a good size, the air conditioning worked very well and kept the room cool which was great specially after spending the day out in the sun. The room also felt very private, like we had our own little piece of paradise. The service was good, we were particularly happy with the SPA where we were treated to a massage which was probably one of the best if not the best massage I’ve ever gotten. ..... Relaxing times at Barcelo Whale Lagoon Maldives Aug. 2025 Our goal was to spend two relaxing weeks at the beach and it was well achieved at this lovely Resort. The resort is pretty new (2 years) and therefore facilities and infrastructure are in good shape. The whole area, every pathway and the gardens are taken care of well. We were on a Sunrise Water Villa and enjoyed our spacious room. Beeing surrounded by the beautiful blue ocean is the feeling we were looking for.
