We highly recommend staying at Ocean Beach Maldives on Hangnameedhoo. The hotel has a family atmosphere and provides all comforts. The building is perfectly located, right next to the sea. The rooms are nice, clean and well-equipped, and the service fulfills every wish. Meals are served in a comfortable and spacious courtyard, where you can also spend time in the evening. The food is delicious, prepared by the owner's wife. The portions were huge and we were served different dishes every day, which is rare in hotels. We had a lovely time at the guest house. The owners are very welcoming. They have spacious garden looking on to the sea. The constant sound of waves and the birds was very peaceful.
Cancelled our honeymoon trip stay last minute with some strange excuse about a room not being ready. Generally rude in their responses. Not trustworthy at all. Did not care about the harm they caused to our planning at a very late moment. PS: It is worth noting that their response was that I am an Indian blogger trying to hurt the Maldives economy. That is how poor their level of professionalism is. I have no connection to India at all. Never been there. I am Western European, married to a Latino woman. We were meant to spend our honeymoon at this place and they cancelled it last minute in the rudest possible way. Stay away from this resort. It has malicious people behind it.
