I really don't exaggerate when I say this is the best place of the Maldives! The island is amazing with an incredible sandbank, and the White Sand team is very gentle and professional. The rooms are big and clean and the hotel is very nice and modern. The team is open to support guests with all questions/issues and they are very committed into making everyone feeling at home. We really had a warm welcome! Also, the place is very peaceful and safe, no need to lock doors. We had many excursions with them and it was always a great day full of great experiences! My husband and I stayed at this hotel for a week in January 2025, and we absolutely loved it! The rooms are new and very clean, the staff is friendly and welcoming, and the Wi-Fi on the ground floor is super fast. If we visit this island again, we will definitely stay here!
We booked through Agoda and tried three times to contact the hotel to get guidance on how to get to the island. No responses over two weeks. That’s the sinking feeling you get when you wonder how the experience will be once you get there. We ended up cancelling and booking next door (Rhymes with “Treebark Reach”) which was an amazing hotel (see my other review) When we finally got to Dhigurah, our decision was justified. Over the course of a week, we never once saw a person in the hotel lobby.
